Pablo d'Ors (born 4 July 1963) is a Spanish writer, priest and translator. He was born in Madrid and studied philosophy and theology in Switzerland, Austria, and India. In 1991, he was ordained as a priest and worked in various parishes in Madrid.
He has written several books, including "The Friend of the Desert", which won the "Religious Book of the Year" award in Spain in 2012. He has also translated the works of Thomas Merton, Henri J.M. Nouwen, and Simone Weil into Spanish.
Aside from his religious work, d'Ors is also involved in cultural activities. He has given talks and lectures on literature, spirituality, and theology, and has been a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines in Spain. He is also a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid.
